His chin scar is from when he was a little one trying to keep up with the village children. They were hopping across the rocks in the stream and he slipped and busted his chin. He also has a scar on the back of one of his ears from..trying to make himself look more human. He doesn't talk about it

Rook's big facial scar comes from when he was a teenager. He was stubbornly trying to help a she-wolf out of a trap before he could communicate with animals, and it went a little badly. She caught him with her claws after he pried her out. He nearly lost the eye. #tavember

Lysander didn't really change his hair so much as just start looping it up because it was more practical that way. He doesn't usually wear it down unless it's drying from being washed. #tavqotd

Rook cut and changed his hair around the time they were getting to Baldur's Gate. He needed a change and the new style displayed his ears much more prominently. With the cut he couldn't hide them, or how self conscious he is of them. The cut was him finally embracing his heritage. #tavqotd
