Its so good from scratch, I only made it once but it was easy! And so yummy with a high quality olive oil. 💚I always forget about soaking my chickpeas… maybe I’ll do that now haha.

I got through half the regular version before I really sat with a bite of it, wondering what that "weird taste" was. Sure enough, sugar.

I finally finished the (thankfully small) tub, its going on the DO NOT BUY list in my house LOL

today in food crimes: the hummus from the supermarket that recently opened near us has sugar in it.

I thought this was due to it being a "low fat" version (added sugar is a common addition in low fat foods), but no... the shop's regular version has sugar too. 😖 Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Oh we have a food scale! It makes measuring ingredients soooo much easier. I will keep that in mind for the dough tho next time. Ty 🩷

I need a dough/bench scraper and to get better at measuring out/shaping dough. The recipe said it makes 8 but if you really wanted to use these for burgers, 6 is probably better for surface area.

I made egg sandwiches with these for dinner and I was not disappointed! Also very full 😂
