Chrono Trigger is my favorite game, an RPG with a great premise, combat, music and of course characters by the late Toriyama
#ChronoConcept is a concept project for an imaginary remake of the game

So lets start with Crono! Male and Female versions!

Crono, posing with his trademark katana and smiling. He looks a bit more boyish than in the Toriyama design and overall looks like a less polished samurai in training with wilder hair. Hes a samurai fanboy that lives in the sticks with his mom so I wanted to make him look a bit less polished than his original design

Crono, but now in female form. I really wanted the player to potentially have a choice in gender and then I wanted each one to have a different flavor. Female Crono is also a wannabe samurai but this one is more by the book, a bit more studious and maybe more into the proper sword forms. The hair is different but still hits the same vibe which is a mass of flowing red hair

Since female Crono is a very new concept I wanted to explore her further so this sheet shows some expressions and poses for the character. These poses show a confident, playful person who enjoys life in a big way but can still be a badass when needed

I just learned that one of my favorite Lupin movies, Wings of Death: Albatross, is NOT a movie, just a couple of episodes from the Lupin show and Im having a hard time processing this

Heres a game design tip, having a quest where I have to traverse through 4 maps in order to deliver something with both time AND HP constraints is not fun, its a fucking put off and causes a flight response.

The flight response is the nearest available GOTY candidate which is also dope as hell.

Silksong is doing the same annoying shit Hollow Knight did in keeping a ton of content out of reach until I do some godawful fucking quests, so till then I get the "normal" ending

Like, its annoying, and Hades 2 is right there, so I started playing Hades. Its great.

Dont even get me started on how so many of you were hyping up this Jay lady last year with the "thats my CEO" shit when she was making the tv rounds

So much of this happens because you elevate somebody in your minds and then cant deal when they show you that theyre an executive trying to make money
