I generally use pyxel edit, graphicsgale and aseprite, depending on which is the most helpful for he thing I want to do. This one was entirely drawn in graphicsgale.

sadly I'm one of those people that only played nier automata and watched videos going over the drakengard games,- one day I'll remedy it, though I'm honestly not sure if I could deal with the humour of 3 for the course of an entire game. Still, the joke endings in 1 and 3 are the coolest

With full shame I will admit I've only seen the movie version, but I think King preferred it's bleaker ending anyway if I remember correctly. And that really was quite the ending
