The impeachment vote didn't take place because 105 of the 108 members of the ruling party (PPP) boycotted the vote. With 192 members of opposition parties in the National Assembly, 8 members of the PPP need to defect against Yoon to make the impeachment happen.

I think I understand your point, but I personally refuse to set the bar as low as where Trump is. The protests in South Korea will continue until Yoon resigns or he is successfully impeached, because he doesn't deserve to hold his position for the rest of his 5-year term. 2027 is just too far away.

No, not quite. Marxism-Leninism is both far-left and authoritarian. Libertarianism (which opposes authoritarianism) also comes in both left-wing and right-wing forms. But what we've just seen in South Korea is most definitely far-right and authoritarian.
