In the beginning there was commandline... then emacs took over

That's why you should nixOS, one language to rule them all (at the cost of your sanity).

Or you use supac and live in peace on arch linux.

Neorg development has kind of staled. When it first came out, I was hoping I can stay put on neovim and work my way. But I eventually gave up :/

Mhmm, I've been through all of this. All of them have some or the other flaws. Right now seeing if I can hack together something in markdown to get tangle working, and then build from there. So far, it seems to be happening. But let's see.

My requirements:
- TODO items/scheduling (org agenda basically)
- code blocks + tangling (literate dots 🫠)
- bold+italic
- inline latex
- image render
- html conversion
- zettelkasten
- edit from terminal

Hopefully I'm not asking for a lot here 😭😭😭

This is insane 😭😭😂

May I be the annoying guy to mention emacs + org-mode?

zoxide solves this rather well for me. (Nushell has interactive completion and selection of path for zoxide).

Lmfao this is the perfect response. I can understand spam email frustration, but this is just an over-the-top reaction. The fact that he's talking about 'societal good' while having worked at one of the top surveillance capitalism companies is ironic and diabolical.

I'd be curious what the results with Hashbrown's hashmaps would be.
December 27, 2025 at 9:39 AM
What are we copying and hashing here? Plain ol' strings? Rust's default siphash?
