While #NICAR25 day 3 marks the end of my first NICAR, I hope it will not be the last! I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to hear from and meet such intelligent people. Truly, with enough grit and ambition, the only limit to what you can develop is your own creativity! #ut-mig-jam

Finished my last session for #NICAR25 day 2! I started the day by making visualizations with JavaScript, followed by running a LLM and web scraping with Python! Biggest takeaway: USE VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS TO INSTALL PROJECT-SPECIFIC LIBRARIES! Your global environment will thank you. #ut-mig-jam

#NICAR25 day 1 was so much fun! I met so many other students interested in data and was introduced to various libraries for spatial mapping and PDF scraping. Learning a new Python library and figuring out how it can augment your current workflow is always so exciting! #ut-jam-mig
