Attempting a personal inktober challenge this year and I like how this one came out. #art #traditionalart
A traditional art piece using alcohol markers, acrylic pens, and Indian ink. In the piece you see floating shadow people, looking at the observer. There is a red background of darker shades pf color at the top to lighter shades at the bottom. At the top, you see black ooze dripping down into globes of black ooze at the bottom.

Was experimenting with different color bases to see what would look best and its interesting to see how the pastel blue and pink appear differently on their respective color bases. Then to see it under a black light, shifts the look as different inks glow or not depending on the type of ink.

Then for the center stripe, there is a light grey base color with white ink work that has random patterns and shapes. The same traditional art work as the first photo, but here it is under a black light, causing the outside stripes' patterns to glow where as the center is dark with a very faint glow of the base color coming through. The art haul from today. Why did I get so many stacks. I have plans and I need textured paper. Also the stencil I grabbed because they have hexes and that’s going to be great for making ttrpg maps. Will I draw ever hex. Yes. Yes I will.
