And it works because he’s so authentic. I still cringe thinking about John Kerry speaking of “lambert field.”

I may be a diehard Packers supporter but none of that matters with democracy on the line - he’s smart to call for common ground among the rivalries.

I love that I’m not the only one whose brain has gone this direction

Just the perfect contrast to JV yelling at his son to shut up about pikachu.

This is a great agenda. The EV hot hatch seems like it would be a layup.

With all the chaotic leadership over there I’m morbidly curious what their actual internal product pipeline looks like.

Grew up listening to Ueck and pretty much ruined me for anyone else. My dad met him a few times - they shared the same old school barber shop - and happy to report it sounded like he was a great guy.

Gotta keep that schedule clear for court dates!

Your broader point is spot on.

But credit where it’s due, the anger translator is a gem from Key & Peele. :)

This is a great point. I’d also add - what exactly would they be able to even echo and run with, if they were capable? How do you amplify “tampon Tim” (etc) to an audience without exuding off-the-charts weirdness? Do they have anything to use that isn’t mean spirited or, to your point, scatological?

Absolutely incredible. He’s essentially a Venn diagram of one.

Not sure if the IVF anecdote was known broadly, but it was new to me and my goodness did it suddenly get dusty.

Oh man Leanne Chin! Shout out. I wonder how that place holds up after I’ve spent the last couple decades spoiled by outstanding asian food options in the PNW.

Perhaps in a nod to extreme anti-carjacking mods in his place of birth, Elon conveniently designed it to be so heavy as to be impossible to tip over during unrest.

For those not dialed in, Intel has some particularly unique problems causing them to be hit harder than others.

Chipped in. Hope other folks stateside and beyond do as well.

Christ, it’s hard to hate Andy Dick any more after the Phil Hartman repercussions but he gets some bonus points for the Rogan long game I guess

No Simpsons, not even a few of the good seasons? Our astronauts deserve better!

Anyone know the source for this? Official campaign or a clever supporter?

Dark Crystal and Secret of Nihm were both go-tos for me growing up. So dark!

No idea how old my kiddo will need to be before we delve into to those, but definitely will be at an older age than I was.

As an Old I reflexively disliked him after hearing early tracks like Rock Star. But somewhere during the pandemic I heard something from him that really clicked and i just ended up embracing how great a lot of his music is. So my unsolicited advice is to just own it.

In my memory the first two acts of Sunshine were sooo damn good, and then things went off the rails. I should rewatch it to see if my perception has changed a couple decades later.

The book “A libertarian walks into a bear” makes an astute observation of the correlation between states with high rates of toxoplasmosis and libertarian/conservative citizenry. Literal brain worms it would seem.

As someone who discussed similar anxiety spike w my therapist a couple weeks ago, I love this anecdote.
