Our political system works when you hold people accountable. The problem is the two party system when one of the two party's gets too much power and that party lacks all moral scruples or appreciation for the constitution.

This is like the participation awards you give a five year old at a costume contest where everyone gets the same award.
Frankly, this is rather sad to watch actually. Has our stature as a country sank this low?

The swearing-in is a ministerial duty, not a discretionary power of the Speaker. Johnson needs to do his job or he needs to be removed from the role if he refuses to do his job.
