I use a Switch Pro Controller but with an 8bitdo adapter, and I can't get over how good these adapters are. The only issue I ever had with them was trying to use more than one at once. They make great stuff

No, it isn't. But the first Metroid Prime games additionally took themselves seriously. This one does not. And so, I do not think I will like it. I hope I'm wrong. But as it is, it looks extremely tiresome.

This is not that, this is a jokey sidekick in samus' ear, pointing shit out, making jokes. I hate that a lot, and I think it is the opposite of my platonic ideal of a Metroid game. No sarcasm, nothing tongue in cheek - just honest and forthright.

It's not a matter of speech. Its a matter of the game taking itself seriously. In Dread you spoke to ADAM (the computer), Quiet Robe, and Raven Beak. All of the interactions meant something. Maybe ADAM talked too much, certainly felt it did in Fusion.
