It's scary not having a working CGM. The MiniMed 780G insulin pump works really well when the tech is working. Can't believe insulin pumps without a CGM was a thing. I'd go through so many test strips...

Today I was in a parade! Of course my CGM decided it was the perfect time to act up. For about 30 minutes, no sensor reading. Maybe I was dehydrated. I drank some water and it went back to normal. #insulinpumplife #T1D #diabetes #LADAdiabetes

My blood sugar spiked after exercise, but autocorrections brought it back into range. Sometimes I bolus post-exercise to lower my blood glucose faster, but the pump can handle it. Dinner's ready in 5 minutes, and I'll bolus for it. (All of those blue lines are auto corrections.) #T1D #diabetes #LADA

Calibrating makes all of the difference. This insulin pump is perfect in that way -- you can calibrate any time, but it doesn't force you to do so. My site is called "Insulin Pump LIFE" because the emphasis is on living LIFE! #T1D #diabetes #LADA

Caught my insulin pump giving me a small auto-correction. A key difference between a pump and insulin shots is precision. With shots, a half unit was the smallest dose I could administer. With a pump, doses are measured in tenths of units. #T1D #diabetes #LADA
