I'm starting to feel like Congress is just a money making scheme. I get continous request to send money, but don't see where they have done anything about Trump ruining the country.

10,000 people have been fired from the government in a month. That is a Stalinesque purge. We shouldn't have to tell our representatives that they need to do something about this, pronto.

I thought last time Donald Trump said black people needed him? This is an obvious coup and attempt to dismantle the US government. If it were another country, we'd be sending in troops. So really, a stop needs to be put to this now!

I don't know how it could done, but perhaps thinking outside the legal box. I'm wondering if the states, particularly MD and Va could get the appropriations money due to the agencies and temporarily rehire the federal workers as state employees?

The Dep't of Health and Human Services laid off employees Saturday evening across some of its biggest agencies, including the FDA and CDC.
Those laid off included people who evaluate the safety of medical devices.
