This also goes for private messages, images, videos - the whole 1000 yards. The data from your discord server would be a fantastic opportunity for "them" make unique profiles with loads of datapoints of all the people you like, just waiting to be used by all of the three letter agencies.

You are basically sending "them" letters in plaintext with all your opinions, thoughts and ideas. This can backfire.

"They" can read _everything_ you write on discord. Also the telemetry keeps track of everything you click on etc etc (ask any privacy expert). I understand that it is hard to get people onto less mainstream platforms, but please understand the risks - so that you can try to act accordingly.
