I don't have the spoons to deal with willful ignoramuses today, but to those who care: There have been minimum work requirements for food stamps since 1996. Unless you're over the age of 59, under the age of 16, or disabled, you have to either be working or in an accredited school/training program.

Waiting for people to realize that enough Dems capitulate on nearly every bill, effectively pulling the Party to the right, all while news outlets continue to complain that they're too far left. They're proving to be about as effective at stopping fascism as the SPD were at stopping the NSDAP.
