Yeah, no. The Pearlman thing reads like a TED Talk crossed with a used-car lot. Faking people out ≠ insight. If your “success technique” depends on manipulating an audience, that’s not empathy...it’s a parlor trick with a LinkedIn headshot. Hard pass.

This is where it loses me. Mentalism as entertainment is fine. Mentalism repackaged as “insight” or a success framework is just manipulation with better lighting. If you actually understand people, you don’t need to trick them.
