I’ve been intentionally quiet for a bit. The end of the year always slows down my workload, and this time I used that space to step back and think about where I want my business to go in the next three years. What kind of clients I want to partner with. What kind of problems I want to help solve.

The most underrated Outlook feature? The Scheduling Assistant.

It shows who’s free... before you book that meeting.

I'll be speaking at the Learning Leadership Conference this October in Orlando!

My session? “Rewiring Learning Experiences with Brain Science” 🧠
Think: fewer myths, more research, and smarter learning design.

Hope to see you there!

I'm working on choosing my first work related book of 2025. Anyone have recommendations for recent ID books that have come out that I need to check out?

As a freelancer, projects are wrapping up for the end of the year and in addition to the time spent making sure everything for year-end is done for my business, this free time is also great for reflection and goal setting. I will be spending a lot of time in the next week or two journaling.

You only get one 'first post' on a platform, & the pressure was too much—so I just wrote this 😂

I'm Tristin—Instructional Designer & D&D nerd. I turn complex ideas into engaging learning (less death by PowerPoint, more edu-tainment.)

Can't promise my posts will all be about ID, maybe that's good?
