I blame the job more than the people. We dont have sick leave. Its included in PTO, but we are only given a limited # of days per year, we dont accrue tome off

@sarahmackattack.bsky.social has really great talks all about exactly this! It’s all about building trust, being a person first and a scientist second. I found in my in person endeavors this helped a lot in avoiding ppl thinking im arrogant.
