Arsenal fan. I blame Pat Jennings, Liam Brady and Arsene Wenger for my obsession.
Well, the African Cup of Nations final was interesting. The Moroccan penalty was so limp. Perfect example of having too much time to think!
In the end, Senegal's quality shone through. You gotta feel for the Moroccans though.

I said yesterday was a good point, and so it proved.
Come on Arsenal fans understand how difficult this League is. Support your team and stop the kneejerk reactions. We may not be playing the lovely football we want to see, but we are in a great position. It's not just the players who need to focus!

For Arsenal fans bemoaning today's result. I get it in the context of other results & taking max advantage etc But a point is valuable and means you didn't lose!!! In previous seasons we may well have lost. Plus remember we are seven ahead!
Final point - our iconic Invincibles drew twelve games!

Asking again for what it's worth. Whatever happened to Man C115ty's charges?

Spanish Supercup shows how exciting football can be when coaches dispense with tactics and forget about the art of defending.

The January transfer window when players move clubs. This window should also apply to managers too (same in summer window). It's unfair surely that at anytime in the season a team can face a rejuvenated team (manager bounce?) while rivals have played the underperforming version.

Cudos to Slot. His comments on the fake rage surrounding Martinelli & Bradley were balanced and sensible. Gabriel made an excellent post / apology.
The one who ends up the prick in this situation is Neville. Will he admit his reaction was similarly over the top.

When a game is framed as a formality, it very often doesn't pan out that way. Yes, Liverpool are depleted but still their starting 11 was pretty good. Apart from hitting the crossbar, due to an error by us, they had no shots on target. When the dust settles this will be a valuable point. COYG

Oh the football clairvoyants. Arsenal has the league in their pocket they're saying. We'll no they don't. You dont know what's gonna happen. You've more chance of knowing who the secret traitor is!!! So zip it until statistically it's ours.
18 games to go & 54 points to play for still.

United has had 10 managers since Ferguson left. They've spent a bucket load of money. They've relied heavily on history to attract these managers. Their owner said Amorim had 3 years to prove himself. Who, apart from for the money it offers, genuinely wants that gig in those curcumstances?

While all Arsenal fans should enjoy our current position, none of us should be complacent about it. Every game is a big one. Things can change very quickly. But I honestly believe we have not reached anywhere near our peak yet and if we keep our focus, 2026 will be good. How good is the question.

I hope the whole City team are out on the lash tonight celebrating their hearts out. They deserve to let their hair down 😜

2025 has been a difficult year for many....and the BBC compounds it all by inflicting Ronan Keating on the public. No disrespect to what he's achieved with Boyzone, but surely there's better more current talent out there to ring in the New Year.

Leandro Trossard added to my list of Arsenal players we need to keep fit at all costs if we're to win the League 🤞🙏⚽️

I prefer the Arsenal of the second half to the first. Just sayin'.....
December 30, 2025 at 10:23 PM
Arsenal hit 42 points. Fans can all relax now,we're not getting relegated 🤣
December 27, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Some day this Arsenal team is gonna thrash a team....I predict.

Shout out to Declan Rice who has been immense in an Arsenal shirt this season. What a player we have on our books. Closest thing in modern football to Roy Keane. Maybe it's the irish in him 😜 Can do the lot and seems like a really grounded, decent guy too.

Top of the league at Christmas 🎄. It was a big thing with media for Arsenal to do it, or we'd have "failed". Now, once we have done it, they instantly had all the stats up....Arsenal were second at this stage for the last four seasons and lost the League. Make your minds up ffs!
December 21, 2025 at 8:04 PM
Slightly better second half but yet not really on our game anywhere across pitch. We were lucky. Sorry for Wolves, must be hard for them to take. But it's 3 points & 3 valuable points.
Ironically, in league we seem to be suffering, and not benefitting, from the continual rotation at the moment.
December 13, 2025 at 10:26 PM
It's not the nil nil score that annoys me. it's the abjectiveness of the team's performance. Major kick up the arse required from Arteta for his players. This type of performance has been rare at the Emirares in recent years, let's hope it's just a blip. Chance to rectify things second half..
December 13, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Someone is going to eventually lose to Wolves sometime this season. Law of averages. Never be so complacent as to think it will not be us. Players need to be focused and ruthless. Am sure they will be, too. COYG.
December 13, 2025 at 11:01 AM
Eight o clock Saturday night game a rarity for Arsenal. Let's hope we do the business against Wolves and boost our goal difference at the same time. But most of all bouncing back from the Villa game is a necessity! COYG.
December 13, 2025 at 10:53 AM
Time for perspective here. Arsenal have lost two games. A wonder free kick at Anfield and a final seconds goal at Villa. Infact same thing for the Sunderland equaliser away. This team have been amazing. Don't let your fears get the better of you. The league's a marathon. Not a sprint. COYG.
December 7, 2025 at 7:49 AM
The loss of saliba and gabriel meant that makeshift defence was always shaky. And so it proved in the end although can't criticise the effort of the players.
Football can be cruel. While villa were v good dont feel they deserved to win...but neither did we .Great gane for neutral.
