#Windblown had me hooked with excellent game design: The movement is smooth like butter, the combat starts fluid and simple . #MotionTwin, who made Deadcells have a new banger with Windblown. I think they can prove that you can catch lightning in a bottle...twice.

Awesome! One of the games that really intrigued me, as in the demo was awesome, at Steamfest24 was: "Abiotic Factor", and now it is out in Early Access!! AWESOME!

Super happy that I got the chance to test #Hades2 during their "Technical Test". The game felt really good, and I think it is going to be a banger!

So many content creators talked about this game over the last year - but no one mentioned how freaking good the soundtrack is!! Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is stellar as well, but the music, oh man - <3 <3

So the demo finally came out, and boy-o-boy do I like it! If I simplify: It's like a mix of d&d, nordic mythology and Tarkov. #Sulfur, hurry up and come out in Early Access!

(PS. Started playing this a few years back, and didn't think I would get a kick out of getting an achievement in a game that is this familiar...but apparently I am just one of Maslov's hounds after all.

It is definitely building up to be a great spring in terms of gaming if you are a Colony-Sim or RPG fan: KeeperRL, the awesome bad-guy simulator just came out of Early Access (originally planned to happen 2014) & Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode is coming out in April. Good bye social life! #nolife

Just picked up the "Creative Sandbox"-bundle on humblebundle.com | It really packs a punch with loads of cool games that I am going to enjoy exploring with my kid.

Oh-Yeah! Zero Sievert, one of my top Early Access games has just added controller support (patch 0.4.1) which means that I can finally start playing it on the steamdeck. Nice!

Postmodern turn-based survival horror game "Draft Of Darkness" reminds me of excellent pen-and-paper RPGs like "Kult" or "Unknown Armies" and takes inspiration from "Darkest Dungeon", mixing in card mechanics from "Slay The Spire", finally adding a dash of "Resident Evil"... And makes it work!

I mentioned earlier the great Steamfest demoes I picked up, and a few of them stuck in my "rotation" (also, really waiting for their full releases). One of the best IMHO was "NIMRODS: GunCraft Survivor". I am pretty sure this is going to be the next "Brotato", and that is high praise for any game.

I put of playing this game for some reason, but now when I finally go to it, I can't stop. The music and atmosphere is excellent, the underlying systems that support the narrative are well thought out and all in all this "little" game really draws you in. store.steampowered.com/app/1155970/...

I have started enjoying roguelike strategy games, specifically those designed for shorter play sessions (1/2-1h compared to 3-4h that a game session in CIV6 or CK3 typically would be). In 2024 I have found 2 strong recommendations: "Cobalt Core" and "Lonestar", both have Space & Cowboy themes!
