It’s hard not to want to see the whole thing come crashing down when voters from Mississippi to Montana get to decide the standard of living of people in blue states. It takes enormous pain to get Americans to make a change that uncouples them from paying red states to oppress them. Geeze.

No, there is no redemption in this woman. Redemption requires humility and there will never be anything like that with her. Greene used to run after David Hog and AOC on the street calling them names. Leslie Stahl is great.

The long game is exhausting, especially when Americans appear largely detached or indifferent to crushing corruption, racism and economic destruction. We are left with the hope that Americans will be able to vote and vote correctly but they won’t do much more than that.

In a scenario where voters of Mississippi to Montana have put in place someone who will bring down the economy of California, would people in blue states feel the imperative to let ignorant and racist voters decide their standard of living? There is huge upside in deciding on a better idea.

I noted the “maybe” about right wing takeover. If there is such a thing it will be largely due to an indifferent American society, whether left or right thinking, who puts personal comfort above all else. The country can survive as a right wing hell hole where most people have jobs. How ugly this is

I’m greatly restless with the idea that Americans are largely detached, dismissive and even supportive of this maladjusted way of leading a country down into a sinkhole that it can never recover from. One election of limited pushback won’t get the job done. Americans have lost their moral imperative

We will have an election that will slow the wheels of fascism. But to the extent that American voters found a convicted felon full of hate to lead the country doesn’t give me great comfort that the nation can persist. In full view, they supported a lover of a twisted Russian dictator.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking of. It’s like getting a water conservation award in your city and you make sure you have the red carpet, the medal, and project solemnity and surprise over an award that, with $9, will get you an oat milk latte at Starbucks. Then you really think you’re something.

Yes, except they’ve changed the story. To them Jesus was white enough that he is treated differently. To them, Jesus would now be living in a mansion, have a jet airplane, have a cache of guns, and most certainly would be hating on people of color. The story fits whatever narrative they come up with

I think absolutism is better. They should just consider whether anyone has the right to be an American citizen. Let’s stop this foolishness and dancing around nuance and gray areas. This could be interpreted as constitutional originalism because these are the people to know how the founders thought.

What the Supreme Court did though is create a bunch of swing districts that were partially hacked off from safe Trump districts. These people are activist demagogues unable to open their minds to other possibilities from their tribal tunnel vision.

Notice the deafening detachment from most Americans on the criminality, lawlessness and murder going on with Trump? Can a society survive by losing its moral imperative? Russia has and maybe that’s where this country winds up. This is depressing but no longer out of the question. It’ll be up to us.

In fact you could take the writings of Robert E. Lee you could have substituted his language for that of the NSS. The difference now though is that the confederacy has grown to take in such states as Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, N and S Dakota. MAGA knows where its base lives.
