We also fixed a lot of other inherent problems and introduced a completely revamped API layer, so it wasn’t all due to AngularJS 😊

…and we spent 3 years on the project. AngularJS is not easily replaced even by Modern Angular because of the shift in paradigm: In-page structure with scopes over to a component-based structure AND dependency injection (service-oriented) to modules.

IMO the biggest hurdle is the shift in paradigm: AngularJS was not particularly componentized - very flat structure with inherited scopes. All modern frameworks are component-based and most without dependency injection, so they don’t map well for AI to replace it. You need to rebuild from scratch.

Something def happened on X after that crazy election. I looked around and couldn’t even find any decent content on my Following feed anymore. Only bots and trolls. Account since 2008 - deleted it then and there. Now I’m here and I smiled ear to ear finding all the “old” people and content again!
