My final version the Cave Nebula in the constellation Cepheus. This is just under 16 hrs of data in an SHO palette.

Work in progress. HOO version using a Foraxx palette of the Cave Nebula in the constellation Cepheus. This is 9 hrs of data, plan to collect another 9 hrs to supplement this working image.

Work in progress. Foraxx version of the Tulip Nebula (Sh2-101). 3.5 hrs data. Plan on collecting another 15.

Interesting stars in image. Bright star on right is visible star Cygnus Eta. Much smaller bright star just of center is Cygnus X-1, one of the first suspected black holes ever discovered.

Funny. Friend in Oregon just sent this to me today.

So, the question for Newsweek is, did you investigate the claim. I understand they claim prices “will be”, but at least some mention of where they currently are seems to me to be required. But, then again I’m not a journalist…

Final starless version of WR134. This version is an HOO image constructed from 32 hrs of data. I used both my FLT132 and my new Carbonstar200 - my first Newtonian scope. Gotta say, love the Carbonstar.

Latest astrophotography efforts. This is an HOO image of Wolf-Rayet star 134 in the constellation Cygnus. The star has a faint bubble nebula around it (blue), which I have tried to capture. It's easier to see in the starless image on the left.

This is almost 24 hours of exposure time.

Today we lost our kitty, Agnes Gooch. We adopted her as an elderly kitty, and only had her for 8 months. But, despite the short time, this little snuggle muffin wormed her way into our hearts. Sorry we didn't get to spend more time with her.

Treasure the time you have with your furry loved ones...

Good year for irises in our party of the country. A sampling of irises blooming in our yard.

Agreed. The Cybertruck always reminded me of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer designs his own car. Like Homer, Elon did no market research and created a monstrosity hoping it would create its own market. So much for superb business acumen...
