It's just a setting, and even then, not a very good one.
I don't have nostalgia for the series, and I truly do not get the hype. I'm glad kids have some kind of horror they can take in and grow emotionally from, though. Also, I truly think a courage the cowardly dog show would do numbers today.

Like, time travel ball pit? Cool. Child having to take on more responsibility than should be necessary? Relatable+awesome. PTSD flashbacks due to stress triggers and having to try and cope through it? Again, relatable.
But the animatronics don't add anyyhing to Oswalds personal story.

Pt. 2 beats just do not relay that super well.
Into The Pit is a well put together game and has a good core around the loss of familiarity and safety, especially with the house sequences, but it just.. feels like being attached to fnaf really just Dragged it down imo.
