Alleyways usually get a bad rep, but Taipei has a really good alley game ✨ and it’s fantastic for mobility. It feels organic to their culture and built environment: clean, well-lit, with constant eyes on the street that make them safe and functional.

There’s something about the energy of terminals ✨Once in a while, when done right (or better), it’s this beautiful chaos of moving people across cities. Here’s hoping for more terminals built with the welfare of people above all else.

🫡 QC made the sidewalks adjacent the Elliptical Road people-friendly by simply allowing life to happen ✨ The raised, dedicated bike lanes doubled as buffer against high-volume, high-speed traffic.

For better or for worse, I love the uncontrolled, people-led, and sensory-overload that is Metro Manila. Yes, tough to see through it all but it’s there ✨ not to romanticize; instead, know that, as a metropolis, we can offer a vibe that is uniquely us!
