43 years ago, on a Thanksgiving weekend in Yonkers, N.Y, I married Ruth, the love of my life. A wise move as I gained a best-friend for life, a protector and caretaker, a homemaker extraordinaire … a partner in all. Thank you Ruth. I hope I’ve proved worthy.
