God, I wish I could have the levels of optimism in anything, that approaches the level of misplaced optimism some soccer fans seem to have in their national teams, regional federations, and FIFA as a whole. Ain't nobody backing out of the WC because of a little illegal war by one of the hosts.

I am so whelmed by the PWHL Seattle jerseys. I don't dislike the colors, but green with a blue accent? So boring. Why couldn't they do a pink accent? Anything to be just a little different in Seattle.

Now that I just finished the season finale of Alien Earth, I definitely feel pretty meh. I think Boy K and the lost boys stuff and the smuggling monsters stuff would have been better separated into two shows and only one of them should have been in the Aliens universe.

With all the Tylenol my mom has taken in the last few weeks, before and after her hip replacement, I'm pretty sure I'm going to catch the autism. Wish me luck in this new phase of my life.
