The only role it can be excused for is for Ted Bundy who was described as “clean cut” and actually used his looks to bring women’s guards down.

Knowing how Ryan Murphy is, I knew that was gonna be the case and I already knew he was going to try to make us feel sorry for him at the end there.

That being said, directors and producers need to stop hiring hot people for thse disturbing roles. They were ugly on the inside and they were ugly on the outside and it creates this sick sexual fantasization towards killers which unfortunately carries on with real life murderers.

Charlie Hunman did an incredible job at making me feel real fucking creeped out, the voice was so eerie. It reminded me a lot of Paul Walter Houser’s character in the show “Blackbird”.

The whole show was just cold and disturbing overall and I think Ryan Murphy captured that time very well.

So, I finished watching this recently and, uhh…it’s SOMETHING, alright. I’ve seen a lot of true crime docs before but this one was definitely a tough watch for me.

I appreciate how they showed the ripple effect of what Gein did, like the future serial killers he inspired as well as media overall.
