I want to be clear that if a different US government had gone through the proper steps and procedure, authorization of force, declaration of war from Congress, etc., then military taking out Maduro could've been fine with me. I'm against the reckless lawlessness, not necessarily anti-regime change.

there's a duality that can be tricky for people to navigate where a predatory force like Trump/MAGA is dishonestly attacking a minority group *but* also that minority group does do some bad stuff, and you have to defend them without trying to deny their real wrongdoing
