Health advice highlight!
There is no evidence to link paracetamol use in pregnancy to autism, other medications can have negative effects–always check with GP
+we can't demonise autism–our communities are stronger when we support each other & our diversity in all its forms www.gov.uk/government/n...
MHRA confirms taking paracetamol during pregnancy remains safe and there is no evidence it causes autism in children
Paracetamol should be taken as directed in the patient information leaflet

Ed Sheeran has "two paternal Irish grandparents, an Irish parent, an Irish passport & a childhood filled with Irish summer holidays. Ireland was the place where his musical taste was formed"

An important intervention from Máirtín here on how the post-war generation of Irish migrants to England is remembered and conceptualised.

He refers to the @irishinbritain.bsky.social exhibition 'Look Back to Look Forward' in the conclusion which we both saw in Birmingham when it was touring.

“An unintended effect of the dominant state model is to obscure an understanding of mid-twentieth century Irish migrants’ lives.”
