One year I had fishing line holding the tree upright in the corner. My cat at the time, Tiara, liked to jump from the staircase to the top of the tree, taking the whole thing down. 🤣

Winds started cranking up here in SE Connecticut overnight. Sustained 12-25 with gusts to 50. Power has flickered a few times. The flipped bench is scary. 😱

I am not here as much and did not realize your brother had passed. I hope you can find some comfort moving forward. 💙

I would not be able to stop for a picture of the soup before tasting, that looks delicious. Well thought out meal planning throughout. Is this the same group you do the cookie thing with? Lots of talent in your group. 😊

Nurses treated about the same way. 🙄

When you know that, the "alcoholic personality" comment makes connecting the dots very easy.

An entire level of ick, just in that.

Your work needs to be shared. As I have said before, political cartoonists are the journalists with spines.
Thank you for sharing your work so freely, it is appreciated.

I wondered if that would fly over the heads of the young'uns. 😏

It was the "who shot JR" of daytime TV. 🙄

As sad as I am over the Reiner's deaths, I wonder if this is the proverbial "straw that breaks the camel's back" that turns the tide. I can only hope.

The nuts will be there after the storm passes.

Perfect. Thank you for bringing a smile through the grief.

You just reminded me; I have blueberries in the freezer. That looks delicious. 😊

This year really sucks.

Your friend is so wise to think ahead for her beloved Rooney, I am so sorry for both of your heartaches. Those big fluffy boys do have a way of making themselves at home in our hearts.

Thank you for the advice.

I will. 😊

I read this with a smile on my face remembering your Post about Joan and afternoon tea. Your afternoon tea looks exquisite.

I think it was "our chore" for many of us. When Joann's was still in business I was able to but a few yards of the fabric that inhibits tarnish just to minimize the polishing.

Very light flurries, the birds are back at the feeders chowing down before sunset. Total maybe three inches. Town has plowed, and salted so should be fine.

I have become a big fan of it, it keeps my hunger satisfied, and snacking minimal. I love whipped cream on top.
(in moderation, of course.) 😏

Speaking of pumpkin pie, I did a pumpkin pie dump cake for Thanksgiving, it got rave reviews.
I have a bunch of over ripe bananas in the freezer and have been branching out away from bread. Found this, which was a hit. This satisfied my oatmeal love.
