My "Thanksgiving" cactus is a little bit confused.

(And, yes, it did blooming November.)

I have the best nurses.

So, last night, we left Starr's harness on top of her crate. She pulled it inside and chewed up two of the buckles. One unplanned errand later, and baby has a new pretty in pink harness. Puppies, man.

Couldn't get much worse than what we have now.

First full day at home after left knee replacement. It's actually better than expected. The sweiing is down a good bit around the ankle, not a lot of pain for the most part. Getting around with the walker. Walking as directed and doing the exercises. First PT appointment Monday.

So far, so good.

Shiny new knee accomplished. Can't see the shiny but it's in there, trust me.

A rare moment of peace.

And all through the house...
Or at least, the living room.

Miss Starr is on restricted activity and wearing the E-collar through the weekend
Then it comes off and she's back to normal activity. She has developed a bit of a seroma but vet is not concerned and says the incision looks really good.

So, Starr is resting quietly next to the BaldMan with a small bone to chew on. She's using her E-collar to hold it (smart girl figured that out quickly). Then she picked up her head quickly and launched the bone across the room. I just hope she doesn't decide that's a fun game! 🐕🦴🚀

And for the cuteness of it all, here is a recent picture of Starr. She will be 6 months old on 12/7.

It is now official. Left knee replacement surgery scheduled for January 21. 🦵🦿🩹
