I'm glad I switched my health care to Nashville Healthcare Centers (from Vanderbilt). Beautiful clinics at Metrocenter and Imaging on Clarksville Hwy. across from the Bordeaux library. Every encounter - doctors, nurses, receptionists, radiologists - is filled with kindness, compassion, patience.

In Vision Zero meetings, I learned that you can do the minimum to save $$ and still comply with some law and that may help to explain the end of the sidewalk from the bus stop and crosswalk across Clarksville Hwy. before you reach the entrance to the Nashville Bordeaux library.

Beaujolais season in Nashville.

Old enough to remember when Beaujolais for Thanksgiving dinner became a fad in NYC. I'd run across 181st to inquire: Is it here yet?

Recently learned that my friendly Cuban wine merchant whose name I forgot died a while ago. I'll always associate him with Beauj.

This is pretty funny, Nashville Business Journal. "Fell in love with health care ..."

You can read the NBJ freely at your favorite library (recommended), or subscribe (it's paywalled) (also recommended).

This Nashville corner has become much safer since all the pedestrian lights were synchronized and no cars turn left in your back toward you while crossing. Except when a car jumps the curb, wham.

Confusion because there's a northbound bus stop at Bransford and Thompson Lane but no southbound bus stop. On the 77 WeGo bus. The closest is at Iris.
