That is a fair argument. I've heard a similar argument by a Khaver in my Bund discord server saying that fighting against colonization is "messy", and such examples were indigenous people in the Americas centuries ago killing women and children, as was Nat Turner's uprising.

Hence why I said "unproven" and not, say, "bullshit" or "bunk", or "fabricated". It's entirely possible that the IOF killed Katsman, considering all we know on that fateful day. I just think that if knew for sure, that Jacobin would probably change or update their article.

I don't ever, *EVER* use stories like that for Hasbara or to dehumanize Palestinians (especially considering all the mutual aid I've given them). I just want to point out maybe, just maybe, Hamas may not be the perfect angels they're being made out to be.

I've seen too many internet randos and acquaintances either claim that the IOF actually murdered Katsman (which is unproven) or even celebrate his death so I always assume malice from Hamas-defenders.

The reason why I jumped immediately to accusing you of Jew-hatred is because the context wasn't clear and my mind thought "This guy has an animus against Israel *AND* the Diaspora? He *MUST* hate Jewish people!" which was reasonable absent the additional context you gave me.

I agree with you! Whatever violent bigotries the US has (or had before Trumpy overdrove those bigotries into Nazi Germany (which took from us, to be fair)), Israel has them on steroids.

Israeli's Parliamentary system is fucked up because it always ends up in Bibi becoming Prime Minister.

Even neglecting the Palestinian lack of suffrage, it's extremely undemocratic when the same PM wins election even when the majority didn't vote for him (I know, hypocritical from a USian).

I get really heated up when you

A. defend murdering Khaverim like Katsman, whilst at the same time, think that automagically means I believe that

B. what Israel did in response is in any way, shape, or form justified. There is no justification whatsoever. It's indefensible.
