Marco Rubio just ordered a change of FONTS in State Department memos, complaining that the current font is “woke.” When I heard that I realized that he sounded like Andy Rooney. As does his boss.

Friends in Chicago, Hartford and Boston, all with severe coughs that have been going on for awhile, resistant to treatment. If only we had a functioning government agency that could do research and keep us informed. I can’t believe we’ve come to this.

We lose when we split. If we agree to a “clean” resolution we get Snap benefits back — for now — and lose health care when premiums get jacked up. Don’t let them make us choose who we would rather hurt.

I don’t understand why we all call it “Truth Social” and with a straight face. And now “Liberation Day”??? tRump and his minions would have immediately put a negative spin on any name that Dems or liberals gave to an idea.

Every word that comes out of tRump’s mouth is intended to create unease and convince us that it would be much easier to go along with him. He may never have read 1984 but he has spent a lifetime learning its lessons. Like a how-to manual.
