Libero di non crederci, a me cosa importa? Buona serata

Also, I'm not talking about the directors specifically cause idk about them, but usually this is the same people who argue that "kids stuff shouldn't be political", that we shouldn't put "woke messages" in movies and TV series... apparently that's only valid for the messages they don't agree with

Unfortunately I was given a very short time slot, but I tried to ask questions that both animation fans and casual viewers could enjoy.

I'm really proud of how this turned out and they seemed really interested too, so that made me happy 🫶 they were absolutely lovely and the film is adorable!

He absolutely did work on this show, he animated the gorgeous flamenco scene by himself 😭 (I love this anime and Umakoshi so much)

You don't usually see this in the media, and they portrayed beautifully. And I don't wanna give away spoilers, but the adults' reaction is masterfully crafted too... both Tia Olga and Grigon are complex and believable parental figures that try their best and make mistakes

When we grow up, we tend to see kids as always happy and carefree, but those of us who didn't forget and don't sugarcoat the past remember those feelings of loneliness, the struggle of feeling small, lost, misunderstood by adults, the tears, the fear of growing up... I remember it all

I loved the fact they chose to focus on kids' mental health. Elio isn't just the stereotypical outcast character, he's a kid who isn't able to communicate with his caregiver and feels like a burden so much that he literally wants to leave the planet

I'm guessing it was Shi's doing, since she already proved herself with Bao and Turning Red, but seriously, her ability to observe, create and write believable and relatable kids is unmatched. And she really knows how to use visual metaphors and timing to convey strong messages

The lenghts they would go to praise a soulless cash grab
