Yesterday the local Indonesian Tabletop RPG community that my friends and I have been growing since Q4 2025 held its first convention!
Call of Cthulhu, Nobilis, DURF, Mothership, Daggerheart, D&D 5e. 40+ participants.
Hopefully this will inspire the local scene to keep on growing!

I just ran @chrisair.itch.io's Mothership module, When In Rome. It ended on a TPK 💀 and it's the first time it ever happened in my game. Thankfully everyone loved it 😅

I saw a local game store selling @chaosium.bsky.social's Call of Cthulhu and decided to buy it. Call of Cthulhu 7e is my favorite game. But before this I only owned the PDF versions, VTT versions, and the Keeper Screen. Better late than never, am I right? Next should be the Core Rulebook!

Finished running @losing.games Mausritter: Honey in the Rafters for my wife (a Tabletop RPG player) and her two nieces (10 yo and 5 yo). They had to find honey to cure illness that afflicted the village's mice. In the end, they succeeded! But... the villagers are now worshippers of the God of Sugar!

Why the fuck would you want to play as the colonizers, establishing and managing colonies, in my people's region???????????
Also it's baffling some people are recommending games and modules, made by Southeast Asians, that are clearly not about playing a bunch of colonizers.

Also, it still feels surreal knowing other established creators talk about an adventure that my partner and I made. The first old-school style one, at that! I'm so happy we made the adventure and won the Audience Pick.

Our Masks: A New Generation campaign was supposed to end tonight, but we had to reschedule because of a literal riot that happened in the capital. So to cheer the group, one of my players posted this amazing piece of art 😭 Every time a player does this, I can't hold back my tears. I love my players.

Our local community had a talk show/presentation last night discussing about Play to Find Out in Tabletop RPG. This is the 5th session we've had. The point is to encourage folks to try out different games and perhaps learn something from them. Because playing different Tabletop RPG can be fun! (1/3)
