Optimist. Montreal.
Move slowly and with care. ❤️
I had a friend who worked for Qatar. They couldn't leave the hotel and they had weight checks before they were allowed to fly.

Totalement d'accord. J'écoutais Radio-Canada et c'était quasiment un épisode de "Merci, monsieur le premier ministre !" Comme si un grand héros venait de décéder et on ne pouvait rien dire de mauvais sur lui. So weird.

Next thing you know, people will be offering up their first born children to be sacrificed

If this was the only problem we had in the world right now, I would be so happy.

Bloomberg says the REM cost CA$119M/km. Is that the one you mean?

Ensemble Montreal increased their budget. Mostly for bodycams, it seems.

Do you know the year vs year amount her administration is assigning to bike infrastructure? I wondered if they just slow down rather than stop or reverse.

I'm not super familiar with that side of the park since I come up from Pine/Cedar and that area, but I know that on this side most of the stone stairs have signs saying they're closed for the winter. I take them anyway, for what it's worth. Do you think they should keep them shoveled and iced?

Aren't most of the stone stairs officially "closed for winter"?

I may be the only person who really wouldn't care if I got a non reclinable seat. They recline so little, and with the limited leg room it feels like such a rude thing to do to the person in back of me, that I rarely recline my seat in an airplane.

Ultimately 3 more women showed up to watch the movie. Luckily for me, they all sat behind me so I still felt like I had the place to myself.

This was the 😱 moment of this very good interview, though they didn't pick it as their headline and opted for the separatist threat instead. I read about half of Mark Carney's book, I supported him. This really changes my feelings about him. Tbh, I kind of feel hoodwinked.

It would be more accurate to label the rain graph as precipitation since we're getting snow in Montreal right now, not rain. But sometimes we do get rain in winter! So precipitation covers everything.☃️

It's just a listing. There's no information about each studio and why readers thought they were the best.

The CAQ was always on the right.

Given that today is Sunday, and this was posted one hour ago, it is very bizarre that this shows "today" as Monday. Do you all know something we don't know? Are you in the future??

Great.

Wait until you find out he used to be an environmentalist. Something very terrible must have happened to that man.
