I think since bluesky is decentralised you could build this into the client so it wouldn't need to be enforced by the protocol, and users could opt out by switching client

Everybody knows this, but having been out of the windows ecosystem for a decade now, whenever I have to dip back into it, it's just shocking what a shit show it is for personal users. Otoh, there is an entire economy built on the guys who can configure windows crapware to behave for corporate envs 🤷♂️

The thing about cooking is that it's fundamentally practical. So 'learning' to poach an egg just means you have to spend ten thousand hours poaching eggs and then you'll have a consistent way of doing it. Vinegar and whirlpools and microwaves are secondary to just practicing!

Tbh getting emails delivered at 8am is more aggressive than getting them at night.. kind of has an 'ive been up all night angrily stewing on this' vibe. If you're asking for work to be done, write and send it during work hours. Otherwise send whenever. Scheduling emails is weird.

It's not just about bitcoin. If you break 256 bit encryption then all the communication channels on the planet are compromised. Every webserver, every phone, every message, every financial transaction is compd. I think most crypto people understand that, so you're kind of dunking on yourself there 😬

Honestly it's mind blowing that people think Google would just drop 256-breaking quantum and kill their whole business, and every other tech business/govt on the planet. But I guess in reality people don't care about being knowledgable, they just want social media engagement 🤷♂️
