Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.

The Commerce Department just made it easier for states and municipalities to use government subsidies to buy Musk’s Starlink internet service.

When Musk's many ethics conflicts are tallied up, it will make Warren G. Harding’s Teapot Dome scandal look like a game of checkers.

The richest man in the world calls people who get help from government programs the “parasite class.”

But Medicaid’s beneficiaries aren’t parasites. Half of them are children.

If we’re talking about people who depend on government, Elon Musk is the biggest “parasite” of all.

The federal civilian worker payroll totaled $271 billion in 2022.

The annual cost of permanently extending Trump's tax cuts that primarily benefited rich individuals? $400 billion.

Keep this in mind as Trump and DOGE lay off thousands of federal workers.

87% of jobs at Amazon pay less than $20 an hour while half of its warehouse workers struggle to cover food and housing costs.

Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos saw his net worth increase by $7.9 million an hour in 2023.

Is this the "free market" Bezos is so desperate to defend?

We’ve tried to shelter our minds but tonight we’re preparing for the genocide of Science.

Entire NIH departments will have no leaders.

World renowned Scientists kicked to the curb without cause, & grants will loose their lead investigators.

Is this what they want?
Chaos? Destruction?
NIH ban on renewing senior scientists adds to assaults on its in-house research
Policy follows firings of tenure-track scientists and suspension of training programs

There are no words that sufficiently describe this level of cruelty and sadism.

The rule would have capped overdraft charges at $5, saving consumers $5B annually.

-Protected veterans from predatory lenders
-Protected consumers' data from corporate abuse
