These poor kids: didn’t sign up for this, got shipped to Illinois, probably will be unpaid thanks to the shutdown, all to watch ICE shoot a pastor in face with pepper balls.

What I fail to understand is that most of these senior officials at the DoD that are being polygraphed are far enough into their career to easily say, “Fuck this!” and retire. Where is the mass wave of retirements?

The amount of fat-shaming that this picture has caused is crazy and sad, honestly.

The neat part is that by the time we get there, @radiofreetom.bsky.social won’t be able to post about it online… … we’ll just be left wondering what he would say as we’re marched off in some camp in a red state.

Pete Hegseth is the undeniably wrong about diversity in the service. It is an absolute strength. There is a place for everybody on the team. Everybody is good at something.

For example, I worked with some truly fat Special Forces guys that were amazing in combat and their day-to-day job.

Most people in the military aren’t frontline combat arms, they are support personnel. I didn’t then, nor do I now, care how fat they were… just that they were good at their job.

I was in the US Army before retiring for twenty-years. The culture of fat-shaming runs DEEP in the US Military. That doesn’t make it right, though.

Is their mission evil? Yes.
Should they be fat-shamed? No.

That actually sounds like it would make for a good dark satire type movie.

Personally, for me, it’s that no man at his age and in his position of power should be wearing shirts with the top three buttons (or more) undone.

How many prosecutors can quit or be fired before the whole district office becomes unable to perform basic functions?

I would have thought that we would have the infiltrated the ALDS first?

My controversial, hot take: I’ve just never liked the name “skeets.”

It’s not that I don’t want to be funny, just that no matter how hard I try I just am not funny. It’s like a reverse Mike Wazowski situation.

What a fucking legend.

Nominate them for a “Legends of Antifa Award.”

My hot take on Loomer is that almost everyone that is embraced by Trump is eventually discarded when he no longer finds them useful. Trump might like Loomer right now, but he is famously mercurial.

I want DemoCats, pictures of prominent Democrats cats, to trend so badly.

Like I would to know if Bernie, AOC, et cetera have cats and if so what kind of cats.

Earlier today, Robert Reich posted this quote from FDR: “True individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence. People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.”

I truly believe Trump wants people out of a job, hungry, and ANGRY.
isdoomimminent.bsky.social
Well, that certainly is an opinion, and you’re rightly entitled to it.

I was just lucky and privileged enough to grow up in a house where there were always goodies to be had before the actual big meal itself.

Was it the before dinner pumpkin pie? Two should always be made on Thanksgiving day because people always wanna eat before they sit down to eat.
isdoomimminent.bsky.social
Wait, I thought it was legit to hit pumpkin pie anytime between 01 October and 30 November.
isdoomimminent.bsky.social
Thanks for answering my question.

Not all of us are wired to be “joyful warriors.” It doesn’t mean that we’ve given up and have stopped fighting. We are angry, pessimistic, depressed, and even sometimes feel hopeless.
