Call the city or town. Have an inspector come out and declare it a nuisance. Then let your insurance company know. If it falls and damages anything in/on your home/yard, their insurance company will be on the hook for it.

Someone posted here that he if he truly opposes this, he should retire/resign now and allow the NC Gov. to appoint an interim now.

As a 30-year social studies teacher and a vet, I will not ever lead a prayer. I do not think my admin would require it, but I will not ever do so.
