I gardened growing up in the country, I now patio garden, but I still garden.
I picked a red jalapeño yesterday. I grow herbs and cherry tomatoes and a jalapeño plant this year. I wish I had some land to plant more.

Busy day in the kitchen. I charred, peeled and froze some Hatch Chilis and made chicken stock . My house smells like chilis, I like it.

It’s taken several weeks of 90+ temps to finally have mid 70’s day. Bonus breeze too.

I am so jealous. A friend of mine just made her first journey into Yosemite. She was proposed to in crooks meadow. There is only one first view of the valley.

When you work night shift and day sleep the light in my room changes during the day. I have plantation blinds, and at a certain time of day the light catches the reflection. I caught it today.

I love gardening. Even on my patio. My little garden is doing well, cherry tomatoes and jalapeño peppers. Herbs are perking. I’m happy.😊

Oh my goodness. Tweeted my back Thursday and it’s giving me hell all weekend. Never, lift a 1.5 cubic foot pound of potting soil that soaking wet. You hear that Home Depot? A 20lb became at least 60lbs. That’s what I get for wanting to grow my own herbs and tomatoes etc. I do have baby jalapeños. 😉

Chilling on the patio. Planted my herbs and tomatoes on my patio garden, added a jalapeño plant too. Having a well earned glass of wine. Happy weekend. Yeah I’m off work until Monday.😊

I have a vast spice cabinet and try new not to use seasoning packets. Yes, it takes time but for a few exceptions I can make any spice blend I choose. I just search for recipes on the internet. However, i recently bought powdered chicken bullion for a Hispanic dish. Also, dried chiles.

Sitting on my patio and enjoying a 75 degree breezy afternoon. Brought my Christmas Ivy out to get some warmth and sun. Spivy seems happy.
