The view at my desk always brings a smile to my face & a warmth to my core. Days like yesterday, when your world collapses & your community is targeted by bigots, I look deep into this moment & remember: we bring the joy, happiness, fight, and strength ourselves — no one can take that away from me.

I made a choice a couple days ago to #leavemeta for many reasons, mainly because of their policy choices and cowardice on standing up against hate towards women and transgender people. I’ve also realized how addicted I was to my phone and social media. Hopefully @bsky.app is a wiser decision.

Imagine if media literacy as a high school class. Literally teaching kids how to read and parse and fact check consumed media. I see no downsides. Maximum real life applicability.

My family is small, but important to me. We’re not close, we don’t do dinners regularly, or even talk daily, and we’re here for each other when we need each family. #smallfamily #twins

This holiday week of telecommuting has me reflecting on and feeling grateful for the work experience that has led me to this point in my career. There’s still so much more to come and new paths to explore, but today, I just want to pause and be thankful. 🥹
