In spite of everything, I'm actually having a good day.

I spent much of the day helping my fellow lesbians move into a new apartment, which I think is a good way to celebrate international lesbian day

Got to go to bed early, as there's a medical appointment tomorrow

Well fk...

I accidentally submitted the wrong cover because I was stressed yesterday and my dyslexia was flared. So, that will now cost me money and time to repair.

That means my book also will not make it in time for the 31st, because it just isn't time.

At least it'll have an ecopy

Well you have no obligation IMO, especially if it costs you cash. It's not like archeology is exactly the highest paying profession lol also, money is super tight right now anyway

Okay, what is hopefully the final proof of my book breezed through at record time!

I just ordered a copy and hopefully I'll have it by like Monday or Tuesday. If it's good, I'll order a bunch right after that for the October 31st release 🥰

Ebook will be ready, but I'm hoping for some prints

I hope to have my next book's ebook version formatted by this weekend, and then submitted.

That should give it enough time to distribute before October 31st, which is what I wanted to go live.

I've heard that and agree. It's funny when you realize how much of our perception of reality is subjective to our sensory organs and processing. It's why so many of us don't like our look in the mirror while others tell us that we look fine 🤷‍♀️

Life is one big illusion, I suppose 🕊️

Even worse, if you record your voice and listen back to it, it may not actually sound correct because the recorder often captures narrow frequency range.

It's quite a curious thing that our truest voice sounds but a lie

Models of everyday life were deposited in #Egyptian tombs. They were supposed to support the deceased in the afterlife. One of the most charming examples is the model of a #cow giving birth.

The party was too early for Halloween, so a lot of the people there just brought whatever random bits they had sitting around to make a costume. There were many women with animal ears. A mouse, moth, cat, wolf, and other sorts.

I walked up to a pizza place and looked through the glass door to see if my friend was inside. Never touch the door.

When I left, a guy stopped me to tell me that I needed to grab the handle and turn it to open the door to get in -_- 🙄🤪🤨

And that's what it's like to be a woman 😭

I went to an early Halloween party. My dryad costume isn't ready, so I dressed up as a kat. You might say that it was a puuuuurrrrrrfect costume for me, as I say meow constantly due to tourette's.
I had a tail too, but you can't see it here lol
