Out for my daily #Islay beach walk later than planned, but managed to be there right for the 30 minutes where it briefly brightened up. Heavy rain on Kilchoman now

Rather different weather to yesterday's sunshine, pouring rain on Kilchoman beach on the west coast of #Islay, still went for a walk though, need to get the miles in.

Spontaneous walk up the Kilchoman to Kilchiaran track, glad that I did: Amazing views including to some of #Islay's neighbours like Ireland, Colonsay and Isle of Mull

Brilliant long morning walk on Kilchoman beach and up the dunes, ever changing weather and stunning light. A great start to this #Islay visit.

Spent a few hours in Bowmore before it's time to catch the ferry and leave #Islay. Shopping at Spirited Soaps and The Celtic House, lunch at Peatzeria. Now enjoying some sunshine before driving to Port Askaig
