Well, us Sheffielders look with envy to Manchester. And I still use Manchester Airport. The A555 link road development, and now the Mottram bypass, does prove Greater Manchester can build stuff. Lastly and most importantly: the nearest Uniqlo is in Manchester!

I was caught up back 2006 when Labour extended ILR from 4 years to 5 years *retrospectively* (overturned after years of judicial review, but too late for me) - unfortunately Labour don't mind the retrospective game.

I checked UKHSA documents on this, flu vaccine preparation for 2024 program contains 2 A and 2 B variants, and the surveillance report sampled mostly A variants and they are the two variants in the vaccine. So there is no vaccine mismatch as such.
