Bathroom bans are despicable for many reasons. They are direct assaults on trans rights, and that’s their primary sin. But they also support implicit gender norms that hurt cis women and elevate misogyny. Say it clearer: transphobia promotes misogyny!

So this is the core of bodily autonomy. Things that are not your concern should remain not your concern. If someone’s bodily change or treatment doesn’t negatively affect other people, it’s none of your business.
