my traumatized brain: how could they be so careless and wreck less, why did these mistakes happen to me?!
me, at my job: *being handed a dripping trashbag nurse described as “full of open needles” as she drops off a suitcase w/ a jumbled mountain of random medical supplies/medicine stuffed in it* 😳

she drove off without the woman and the two black men in line behind her too, i watched her shut the back door on her first then the front door seconds later, i didn’t get her badge number, and my phone died so i couldn’t look up her bus on maps to report her. i’m sad for the way people are.

if i could import a single vibe from the pnw it would be the way everyday people and especially bus drivers empathized and knew not to blame the people around them for the circumstances we’re all in, but today i got off the bus in LA and saw my bus driver shut the door on a woman wrapped in blankets
