The guys who ran the first comic store I went to introduced me to Cerebus mid Church & State and it just blew my mind. I couldn’t put it down. So funny, so poignant, so independent!, so subversive. Loved how pro creators rights he was. Wish the last half wasn’t kinda subsumed by his ideology.
